Analyzing data in bulk is a great way to explore trends and customer behavior and, in turn grow your business rapidly. But to truly understand your client and their needs, you need a more personal view, and that's what contact level data reports are for.
Contact level data reports enable a personal look into the journey from prospect to paying customer by letting you drill into the details of one specific message recipient.
To access contact level reports, click on the folder icon in the upper right corner inside Insights.
Open the Shared folder > Insights > Channel performance. You'll see three folders for email, mobile, and SMS dashboards. Inside each of them will be a Contact Level Data Drill Down folder.
Tip: In each of the dashboards you can adjust the date or choose a message name inside the filters section.
Inside this folder, you will see four dashboards:
- Email contacts 'Change of Address'
Information on how many times a recipient request to receive future emails to a new email address. - Email contacts 'Clicked'
Details related to the total number of times a recipient clicked on a link within an email message. - Email contacts 'Opened'
Details related to the total number of times a recipient opened an email message. - Email contacts by metric
In this dashboard you'll find an additional dropdown list in the filters section. It will allow you to do a detailed drill-down per different metrics:
- Bounces
- Soft bouces
- Hard bounces
- Opt-outs
- Abuse complaints
- Mail blocks
- Email restrictions
- Suppressed
- Reply (other)
Choose one of these options to find out how your campaign is performing.
Mobile
When you're inside the mobile contact level reports folder, you will find one dashboard: Mobile contacts by metric. All of your mobile messages/notifications will be listed there, with information about device and contact ID, and last action date.
In the filters section you can do a detailed drill-down per different metrics:

Alerts and reports
The icons in the upper right corner of the dashboard let you set alerts, download report data, check your timezone, and more.
The bell icon will let you to set alerts and the three dotted icon lets you go to explore mode, download data and more:
Note: You can make a copy of a dashboard from the folders navigation if, for example, you want to make some customizations. Click on the three-dotted icon and Make a copy. Read more about how to create a copy of your own dashboard here.
