The evaluation of new technologies allows us to bring more robust Business Intelligence capabilities to address many of the concerns and issues of marketers. On September 27, we began to roll out our new analytics capability - Insights - as part of our latest architectural updates. On March 15, 2024, we will replace our legacy reporting tool, Performance Insights, with Insights. Until then, we will continue to support Performance Insights in production.
We designed our new Insights to provide more value and an enhanced experience. Some key features include:
- Better targeting and management of multiple channels, Email, SMS/MMS, WhatsApp, and Mobile.
- Bot detection and filtration for the email channel and executive dashboard.
- Modernized data management for increased confidence in email and campaign reporting.
- A modern and intuitive UX/UI that enables easy onboarding for all users.
- Ability to export marketing data, schedule alerts, and share reports.
- Ability to edit standard dashboards or author custom dashboards.
- Comparisons between 2 or more campaigns in a report.
Differences in access to private campaigns in Performance Insights and Insights
Within the Campaign's message folders, you can create private campaigns and adjust who can view campaigns within the folder structure, which includes visibility of reporting in Performance Insights. Other users cannot view private campaigns in Performance Insights unless they are shared. This is different in Insights. Anyone with org access can see any campaign measurements in the default Insights dashboards.
