Default cache expiration time increased
Content implements a system-wide level of caching that improves the average response times for all requests to access the live public content. The default cache time for path-based static resources URLs has now increased to one week. For more information, see Publish and deliver content.
Published changes to assets immediately reflected in Akamai
When an updated image is published, your update will appear immediately because of direct invalidation. Images are cached for one day instead of the previous 11 minutes, giving you better responsiveness to updates from your content authors.
Adjust your delivery cache to better manage performance
You can now control the time for which HTTP responses are cached when a user visits your website or application that uses the Acoustic Content APIs. For more details, see Optimize website performance.
