The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulatory framework that was designed to harmonize data privacy across Europe, to protect and empower all personal data of individuals that are physically located in the EU/ EEA, and to reshape the way organizations across the region approach data privacy.
The GDPR lays out, among other, the principles for data management and the rights of data subjects and applies to the processing of personal data by all organizations located in the European Union (EU) as well as to all organizations located outside the EU that are processing personal data of individuals that are in the EU, where such processing is related to the offering of goods and services to individuals in the EU or the monitoring of their behavior taking place in the EU (e.g., via tracking technology).
You can remove the contacts by uploading a CSV file.
- In Social Audiences, go to Settings > Expand EU General Data Protection Regulation.
- Upload a file with the contacts that you want to remove. Make sure to use the .csv file upload recommendations.
- The first row of the file must have the valid attribute header.
- The following rows must have valid attributes.
The type of attribute Social Audiences GDPR upload accepts:
- PhoneNumber
- Phone
- SMS
- MobileAdvertiserId
- FacebookUID
- Claim
- TwitterID
- TwitterHandle
- DeviceID
This process:
- Deletes contacts and attributes in Social Audiences.
- Deletes contacts and attributes in social network audiences.
