General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) considerations for Acoustic Personalization.
User behavior data in Local Storage of web browser
Acoustic Personalization does not store any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) data in the web browser. It stores visitor behavior anonymously in the Local Storage under the acousticPZN key (previously known as ibmrtp key).
End-users can choose to delete the data in the Local Storage of their web browser by clicking Clear All to delete the data stored under this key.
Information storage in database
Information stored in the Acoustic Personalization databases does not contain any PII data. The visitors are identified by the x1Id assigned by Acoustic Exchange.
