An organization administrator can change the sync settings and enable CRM and scoring.
Enable CRM and scoring
- Contact an Acoustic Campaign admin to enable CRM and enable lead management.
- Log in as an Org admin.
- Go to Settings > Org admin > Organization settings.
- Click CRM and scoring settings and then click Edit.
- Clear the Sync setting check box.
Select your database for Salesforce CRM
An org admin can select the database in organization settings. To select the database for CRM and scoring:
- Go to Settings > Org admin > Organization settings.
- Click CRM and scoring settings and then click Edit.
- Click Select to add the CRM database and scoring database from your shared folder and then click Save.
Note: Make sure that you select the same database for CRM and Scoring.
Syncing leads and contacts with your Salesforce CRM
Sync leads with your CRM tool. Marketers can push contacts into a CRM, i.e. Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics CRM, when a contact reaches a specified score or rank threshold.
Contacts are pushed into the CRM when you set a lead score or rank threshold and sync the contacts that fit the score criteria to the CRM.
- Contact your Org admin to enable CRM for your organization.
- Add the same database to the CRM and scoring settings.
Note: When you enable CRM, additional fields will be added to your database.
Syncing contact scores with your Salesforce CRM
You can sync contact scores with CRM when the score reaches a specific threshold:
- Go to Scoring > Scoring models and select your scoring model.
- Click Sync with CRM.
- Select the Score reaches radio button.
- Enter a value in the text box.
- Click Save.
Syncing score fields when thresholds are reached
Sync a contact score field with CRM when a rank reaches a specific rank level:
- Go to Scoring > Scoring models and select your scoring model.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Sync with CRM.
- Select the RANK reaches radio button.
- Select a value from the drop-down box.
- Click Save.
Verifying your contact sync
You can verify that your contacts are successfully synced with Salesforce CRM:
- Navigate to Scoring.
- Select a template.
- Look for the Sync with CRM link towards the bottom of the page.
