If no new contract or payment for service, the billing department 'suspends' the subscription. The subscription will sit in this status for 30 days giving time for the client to re-sign. The programs will still run, but nothing leaves the server. User access is blocked.
After 30 days, the subscription will be 'terminated.' At this point everything stops. Any/every program shuts down and will need to be rebuilt if the subscription goes inactive at this point.
