The CX Event metric is used to track Journey Analytics usage. Interactions in applications that publish event data for use in Journey Analytics reporting are mapped to CX Events.
A CX Event can be an interaction that is initiated by your company or an action that is performed by a user in a channel. Events in Acoustic™ Digital Analytics, Acoustic Experience Analytics (Tealeaf), and Journey Analytics journey analysis events are mapped to CX Events by using the following ratios.
|Digital Analytics event (server call that is triggered by a tagged event).||1:5||One CX Event maps to 5 Digital Analytics MSC interactions (server calls). 1 million CX Events = 5 MMSCs|
|Behavior event (Tealeaf screen view and Overstat® events)||1:1||One CX event maps to 1 Tealeaf MMI.|
|Interaction received directly through the API (for example, a journey analysis event)||1:4||One CX event maps to 4 journey events|
Use the Usage summary page (Settings > Usage) to track CX Event usage against your monthly purchased event volume.
