Add CRM contacts to campaign in programs
With the Add contact to campaign action, you can add specific contacts to an existing Salesforce campaign. You must enter a valid Salesforce campaign ID. If you also want to specify the campaign member status, type in the exact member status text as defined on the Salesforce campaign. Without entering a campaign member status, the default member status as defined on your Salesforce campaign will be used. All contacts that match the add conditions are synced to the CRM system and added to the campaign. You can specify a member status value here as well.
Note: The Add contact to campaign action is only available when a CRM database is associated with a program as a contact source.
Sync contact with CRM in programs
The Sync contact with CRM action only displays if the associated contact source is an integrated CRM database. Campaign sync supports Salesforce, MS-CRM, and Sugar CRM. The sync function can be used at the track or step level and syncs contact information to the associated CRM. As with all the other actions, you can decide who should be synced based on rules.
