What is considered as a "Missing" Category? does this include soft bounces and/or hard bounces, what does this category mean?

    Hello Carolina,

Missing represents the percentage of total seed addresses for each ISP that was not received in the inbox or the spam folder. Reasons email may be categorized as missing include:

    • The email may have been blocked or rejected by the server.
    • The server received the email but chose not to accept it because of spam filter results, reputation issues, or blacklisting.
    • The ISP is throttling your inbound messages and has not accepted the email yet.

More information can be found here - https://help.goacoustic.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043310353-The-inbox-monitoring-report?flash_digest=96836191ed6f423d6ae23f5f18d9d620e6e42efe

    Thank you

In the beginning it says that the it's a pay-per-use feature.

If I activate it in one campaign, how much will it cost?

    Hi Jeri,

Is it possible to send an email to the inbox monitoring contacts only without sending the email to a real audience?

    Thanks

Hello Hugo Peurois - It is not possible. You could send to 1 contact + Inbox Monitor and that would be the smallest send available.

    Thank you,

    Hi Jeri,

    Thanks for confirming.

We've used inbox monitoring on a few recent sends and I suspect that it impacts the numbers we see in the different emails reports.

I usually check email engagement using the Excel Add-in product (I find it the easiest to use out of all the other alternatives) but have noticed an anomaly on the number of unique opens reported. The report indicated more unique opens than emails received, which should be impossible.

When cross-referencing with other reports in Acoustic, the unique clicks for those campaigns are not consistent either.

Could this be due to the Inbox Monitoring function and the fact that some reports take into accounts open/click events generated by Inbox Monitoring contacts?

    Thanks

Hi Hugo Peurois - it's possible that it could be due to he Inbox Monitoring function and the fact that some reports take into accounts open/click events generated by Inbox Monitoring contacts.

However, I encourage you to open a ticket with the support team to get more details. You can do that by following the instructions here:
