Automated behavior updates run nightly to set the last action date for contacts that took the selected action during the previous day on any email to the selected database.
Behaviors
Contact Behavior: Found in classic queries on the Behavior tab. Contact Behavior is used to create classic queries that are based on specific contact behavior.
Profile Criteria: You can use this feature in queries and classic queries as part of profile criteria because the data is collected in a database field.
To set the automated behavior updates, take these steps.
- Go to Automated Behavior Updates under Organization Settings.
- Click Edit.
- Select a database that captures a contact's email behavior.
- Choose the automated behavior field that you would like to use. The fields are Open Date Column, Clicked Date Column, and Sent Date Column.
