Sending your campaigns
You have two mobile campaigns and you're wondering which type of campaign is the most effective for your customers.
First, you sent out a mobile campaign titled "Home for the Holidays! 20% off your first purchase!" This message was sent to simple-only customers inviting them to take advantage of a special deal for early holiday shopping.
The second campaign offered the same deal, but the title was "Celebrate early with 20% off your first purchase!" This message was sent to simple and inbox customers.
Analyzing the results
Several days later, you go into Performance Insights and want to see both of your campaigns. Your first filter by the Home for the Holidays campaign. You see that the "action rate" on the simple-only message is getting a 34.5% over the last week. However, you then check the "Celebrate early with 20% off your first purchase!" The action rate for the simple + inbox campaign has an open rate of 85%. You realize that using simple + inbox instead of inbox-only messaging is more effective. You decide to focus all of your marketing efforts on simple + inbox in the future to reach more customers with every campaign.
