Sending your campaigns
You have two mobile campaigns and you're wondering which type of campaign is the most effective to your customers.
First, you sent out a mobile campaign titled "Home for the Holidays! 20% of your first purchase!" This message was sent to simple-only customers inviting them to take advantage of a special deal for early holiday shopping.
The second campaign offered the same deal, but was titled "Celebrate early with 20% off your first purchase!" This message was sent to simple and inbox customers.
Analyzing the results
Several days later, you go into Performance Insights and you want to see both of your campaigns. You first filter by the Home for the Holidays campaign. You see that the action rate on the simple-only message is getting a 34.5% action rate over the last week. However, you then check the "Celebrate early with 20% off your first purchase!" The action rate for the simple + inbox campaign has an open rate of 85%. You realize that using simple + inbox instead of the inbox-only messaging is more effective. You decide in the future to focus all of your marketing efforts on simple + inbox to reach more customers with every campaign.
