Asset tagging allows you to apply tags, also called keywords, to your Acoustic Campaign assets. This helps you to quickly search for assets.
How does it work?
Entering tags is faster and easier with the new type-ahead/auto-suggest enhancement. As you type a tag, the system displays previously entered tags. For example, typing "Su" will display the previously entered tags "Summer 2020" and "Sun and Fun Program." Just select the correct tag from the drop-down list and you're done.
Note: Tags cannot be added to Campaign assets via the API.
Example
You can tag a group of databases, queries, and emails as "Spring 2021 Automated Messages." In future releases of the product, you'll be able to leverage tags in a number of ways, such as building comparison reports showing performance differences between Automated Messages, such as those tagged with "Spring 2019 Automated Messages" and "Spring 2020 Automated Messages."
Apply tags to new or existing templates
You can add or edit tags during the creation of (or to existing) email templates, locked templates, and quick compose templates. When copying a email template that contains tags, those tags maintain association with the copied template.
Apply tags during the send email process
In previous versions of the system, tags applied to email templates using global search were automatically associated with the sent email. Now you can add or edit tags on the send page for send emails, send test emails, scheduled emails, and autoresponders. In addition, the system automatically assigns a test tag when the client sends a test email.
Global search
The global search feature supports tagging (apply new tags or clear existing tags). You can add tags to assets throughout the system, such as emails, databases, queries, templates, and more. You can insert as many tags as you choose for the selected items.
Filtering trend reports
You can filter trend reports by tags, narrowing the focus of these reports to a particular segment or category of emails.
Note: Tags cannot exceed 255 characters.
