There are two editions of Acoustic Exchange, Essentials and Standard. Each edition offers a robust selection of features that are designed to help you reach your business goals.
Overview
If you are subscribed to the Acoustic Exchange Essentials Edition, then you can create real-time data exchanges across Acoustic Exchange applications and Acoustic Exchange Business Partner applications. As always, Acoustic Exchange + Acoustic Exchange data exchanges are no charge from Acoustic Exchange. If your business needs require you to use one of the many Acoustic Exchange Business Partner applications that are integrated with Acoustic Exchange, then you can draw on your substantial Data Exchange Unit allotment to exchange data across platforms.
The Acoustic Exchange Standard Edition gives you everything the Essentials Edition does and more. With the Acoustic Exchange Standard Edition you can create real-time data exchanges across Acoustic Exchange applications, Acoustic Exchange Business Partner applications, and with client-owned applications. This means that with Acoustic Exchange Standard you can exchange data with any platform in any configuration. Like in the Acoustic Exchange Essentials Edition, if you exchange data with an Acoustic Exchange Business Partner or one of your client-owned applications, it uses your Data Exchange Unit allotment. In the Acoustic Exchange Standard Edition you get even more Exchange Units than in Essentials so you are covered to exchange data with any non-Acoustic Exchange solution.

Reaching my data limit
You are notified within Acoustic Exchange if you are near your data limit and also if you exceed your data limit.
Data pause
If you exceed your data exchange limit, your data exchanges are paused. Data exchanges are not stored or processed during the inactivity period. Data exchanges do not begin again until you authorize overages, upgrade your edition, or the new 12-month billing cycle starts. Acoustic Exchange + Acoustic Exchange data exchanges are not paused.
