If your organization requires identity data storage to be turned off for any reason, Acoustic Exchange provides the means to do so.
During provisioning, identity data storage can be turned off for an account, upon request. This
ensures that no identity information is stored by Acoustic Exchange. However, event and audience
exchanges still retain the identifier information that they are published with until the end of
their lifecycle.
Note: Because identity data storage is turned off, event and audience exchanges are
not enriched with historical identity data. Use cases that rely on Acoustic Exchange identity
services for context may not function as expected.
After the provisioning process is completed, a global banner that indicates identity data storage is turned off displays on the Acoustic Exchange dashboard. The banner can be closed by selecting the X in the right corner of the banner. Once closed, the banner does not display again.
