Currently, while you configure a classic programs email step, in the advanced settings, the option to choose which custom opt-out link to use is unavailable. However, if you are doing a single one-off send, you do have that option.
Observed behavior: You are not taken to the custom opt-out page. Instead, the generic opt-out email confirmation page opens where you would enter an email and select a 'No' or 'Yes' option for if you want to unsubscribe.
Consider the following work-around:
- In Settings > Administration > Organization settings > Select opt out/Suppression settings.
- Click Edit and change 'Opt out link required to send' from Yes to No.
- Then, in the template, change the link type to a tracked hyperlink instead of using the custom opt-out link type, and directing the link to the custom opt-out URL listed in Opt out/Suppression settings.
