You want the flexibility to suppress a contact's email address one day but not another.
Although you can not reference a suppression list via a query, you can instead reference queries within queries and through this simulate a suppression by using the Is Not In... statements.
First you need to have an idea of who you do not want to send to. Is there something about these contacts that you can use to group them in some way?
You might decide to create a contact list and add contacts to it or you might instead use or create a database field to identify these contacts and then build a query to gather them together.
Whichever way you choose, you can then create a query as your contact source for your email and this query references those you do not wish so send to by using the Is Not In... operator. For example:
Contact 'Is Not In Query A'
Contact 'Is Not In Query C'
Contact Field 'Cars' is Equal to 'Yes'
Therefore, for the above email contact source query, you are targeting all contacts who have 'Yes' in your Cars data field but you are excluding (suppressing) those contacts who are in Query A or in Query C. You could also just as easily specify a contact list instead or in addition to the above.
By referencing queries within queries, you can make highly targeted emails only to contacts who appreciate a relevant communication.
