You can send emails to multiple contact lists.
First, create one parent database for all of your contacts. Then, you can create several contact lists, such as newsletter recipients or contract renewals, from the contacts in the parent database.
For example, if a contact in your parent database accepts an offer for the Sports Bike Helmet coupon, he or she is added to the Coupon contact list, to which you can continue to send periodic offers.
In another example, a contact can opt-in to the Sports Bike newsletter from a web form, which adds the contact to the Sports Bike Newsletter contact list. You can then send emails to the Coupon contact list and the Sports Bike Newsletter contact list at different times and with different content.
You can also send the same content to contacts in either contact list by building a query of specific criteria and running the query against both contact lists. For example, you might want to send an announcement introducing Extreme Biking Accessories to certain contacts who exist on both the Coupon contact list and the Sports Bike Newsletter contact list.
