Handle duplicate contacts from a flexible database
Programs allows duplicate records to enter from a flexible (non-email keyed) database regardless if it is not setup to allow repeats.
Even though the record has the same email address, it has a different recipient ID and it is not a repeat, it is a different record. Therefore duplicate email addresses are not kept from entering a program.
Flexible databases and different contacts with the same email address
Contacts with the same email address from a flexible (non-keyed) database sometimes enter a program's email step at the same time or reference new information on Programs Contact Merge. In this case, the email is sent to only to the contact that opted into the database first.
