In some cases, it's difficult or time consuming to manually delete fields or lists in large quantities. Can Support help by deleting items on the backend?
No, Support is unable to manually delete items on the backend. For example, when a field is removed from Acoustic Campaign, the system performs a series of checks and makes a number of changes to the platform. These checks and changes cannot be emulated by Acoustic Campaign Support or Engineering. These changes must go through a regular platform data job to ensure that items are successfully deleted.
Deleting a list of any type also requires a regular data job. You can select multiple lists to delete, each list deletion is accompanied by a dedicated data job.
