You can reset your password when your account is blocked due to the following reasons:
- A forgotten password
- An expired password
- Too many log-in attempts
- IP validation
The reset password option cannot reset and unblock your account if the organization has IP restrictions and the user is trying to reset from an unlisted IP address.
- Enter only a user name and click Reset password. Your notification email address in Acoustic Campaign must be valid to receive a reset password code.
- The Reset Your Password page opens and a password code is sent to your notification email address. When you receive this code, enter it in the Password Code field and click Confirm Code.
- After the system validates the code, it will prompt you to enter and confirm your new password.
For security purposes, when you initiate a password reset by clicking the Reset password link, you should complete the rest of the reset process. If you click the reset link 8 times in a single day, but do not complete the reset process, your account will be disabled, and you will need to contact an organization administrator to resolve the issue.
