Acoustic Campaign has a plan to handle business continuity and disaster recovery if emergency events such as power outage, server failure, or Acts of God occur. We provide minor, major, and catastrophic fault protections.
Minor fault protection
Each component in our data centers is highly redundant and designed to eliminate single points of failure. Any individual machine, drive, server, and network can fail with no disruption of service.
Major fault protection
Data is replicated from the primary data store to a separate secondary data store in the same physical data center. This data store is physically separate and unique from the primary data store that protects the data if there is a major fault. The secondary data store is also regularly backed up using snapshot technology. Snapshot technology ensures the ability to roll back and recover from major logical corruptions that have been replicated. This solution provides reliable protection from major faults of the primary data store by allowing for fail over of primary services to the secondary data store during such events.
Catastrophic fault protection
Data is replicated from the primary data store to a secondary data store in a remote data center. If there is a catastrophic failure at the primary data center, this is used to restore the customer data. Depending on the severity of the fault, the data is either restored to the original primary data center or a newly identified data center. Once restored, customers are able to access their data via normal Acoustic Campaign channels. Catastrophic fault protection is available in all US, Canadian and European data centers.
