- How much does Survey Connector cost?
Survey Connector is free with an Acoustic Campaign subscription. To use this feature, you must have either a Premier or Advantage SurveyMonkey account, a Professional or Full Access SurveyGizmo, or an API access enabled Quatrics account. If you do not already have a subscription, you can purchase it directly from the vendor.
- I use another product for my surveys; is it supported by Survey Connection?
At this time, SurveyMonkey, SurveyGizmo, and Qualtrics are supported.
- Which version of my survey vendor should I use?
Survey Connector uses functionality that is only available in the Premier and Advantage versions of SurveyMonkey. Free and Basic SurveyMonkey accounts are not supported. For SurveyGizmo a Professional or Full Access account is required. For Quatrics, an account with API access enabled is required.
- How often is Acoustic Campaign updated with Survey data?
Survey responses are updated in near real-time. Survey Connector is always monitoring for Survey responses. Survey responses are processed and sent to Acoustic Campaign in near real-time.
- What does 'Monitor' mean in Survey Connector?
'Monitor’ is used to indicate that Survey Connector is monitoring specific surveys for responses which it processes and then sends the appropriate data to Acoustic Campaign.
You may have additional surveys that won’t impact your direct digital marketing efforts with Acoustic Campaign; so you can just use native SurveyMonkey, SurveyGizmo, or Qualtrics functionality for those use cases.
- If a respondent did not access the Survey from an Acoustic Campaign email, SMS message, or mobile app message, are responses sent to Acoustic Campaign?
No. When a survey link is distributed via an Acoustic Campaign channels, it includes an identifier that allows attributing responses to an Acoustic Campaign contact. If a survey respondent comes from another source, there is no way for Survey Connector to find a contact in Acoustic Campaign.
- How do I populate a database field with a survey response?
In Survey Connector, map the database field. To map the field, find your survey in the list of Monitored Surveys and then click the Configure icon. Specify a database and then choose each question that you want to capture responses for in a database field. Type the Acoustic Campaign column name to find the field.
- Can I use any Acoustic Campaign database in Survey Connector?
You can if you specify the database on your endpoint in Acoustic Exchange.
You can specify any of your Acoustic Campaign databases on the Configure page. However, if you choose a database that is not specified on your Acoustic Campaign endpoint in Acoustic Exchange, the Universal Behaviors are not passed to Acoustic Campaign. Database fields and the relational table are still populated even if the behaviors are not created.
