Read through the following procedure to understand how to create a Salesforce.com Campaign from an Acoustic Campaign email.
- Send an email inside Acoustic Campaign. In the Send email page, select Create CRM Campaign.
Note: Make sure to select Create CRM Campaign when you select a Contact Source that is associated with your Acoustic Campaign CRM database.
- A Campaign is created in Salesforce.com by using the Acoustic Campaign email name as the Campaign name.
- A new record is created in the Acoustic Campaign Email Campaign Activities related list (custom object) in Salesforce.com representing the email report.
Acoustic Campaign contacts that are not already syncing to Salesforce.com at the time of the Send is not added as Campaign Members to this campaign over in Salesforce.com. Only unconverted Leads and Contacts that are synchronized with the Acoustic Campaign at the time of the Send with a Campaign Member record is created inside Salesforce.com. That is, the Number Sent might exceed the total number of Campaign Members found on the Salesforce.com Campaign.
A Salesforce.com Campaign can be created through the sync if the Create CRM campaign option is selected at the time of sending the email. You can't create a Salesforce.com Campaign for a email after the send.
