You want to know which areas will auto-populate if contact is known as and where auto populate will and will not work in certain situations.
Auto-populate WILL work in these situations:
- Auto-populate if contact is known does work when the link type is clickstream standard web form.
- Auto-populate if contact is known does work when your email is linked directly to the web form itself.
- Auto-populate if contact is known does work from within a sent email, and a stand-alone landing page.
- The auto-populate if contact is known does work if the email is forward to a new contact. However, the web form is auto populated with the original contact's information.
Auto-populate WILL NOT work in these situations:
- Auto-populate if contact is known does not work when the link type is opt-out.
- Auto-populate if contact is known does not work when using the iframe code on an external site. If you used external post code to add it to your external site, it does not auto populate.
