General term for several Acoustic Exchange endpoint registration methods.

The Acoustic Exchange endpoint registration wizard presents Acoustic Exchange users with the range of endpoints that they can register in their Acoustic Exchange account, including yours. Depending on how you integrate with Acoustic Exchange, the wizard presents the following options:

• Direct connect: Users enter credentials and connection information in various entry fields. The wizard submits the information to the endpoint provider directly. Direct connect automates the registration process between Acoustic Exchange and the endpoint provider.
• Instructions only: The user contacts the provider to submit the registration information. The wizard displays instructions that tell the user how to do so.
• Custom Endpoint: Acoustic Exchange generates an authentication key that the user submits to the endpoint provider. Instructions for how to do so must be provided separately by the provider.

The process is called Click to Connect because you can register a product or solution endpoint with a series of clicks.
