Salesforce limits its customers to a select amount API calls per 24 hour period. The amount API calls allotted to a Salesforce account is determined by the org type that the account is subscribed.
To transfer event data from an endpoint to Salesforce, Acoustic Exchange utilizes APIs. The number of API calls made by Acoustic Exchange per event is determined by the type of event that is sent. When a Salesforce account has consumed its API allotment for a 24 hour period, Acoustic Exchange can no longer send event data. As Acoustic Exchange does not store event data, some event data can be lost while the 24 hour period for a Salesforce account resets.
