Add a new user
Organization administrators can add additional users to Email Insights. After your Email Insights account is provisioned, you are able to sign into Email Insights.
For administrators, on your first login, you might encounter the error message: You must add your API refresh token.
Follow the steps whether you are the first administrator user of Email insights and if you are an administrator adding a new user.
- In Acoustic Campaign, go to Settings Organization Settings Application Account Access.
- Click on Add Account Access to add new user.
- Select Email Insights from the Application drop-down menu.
- Select your user name or the user you are giving access. Once added, the added user will receive an e-mail with the Email Insights Token.
- In Acoustic Campaign, navigate to the tab labeled Applications Email Insights.
- Click on either Preview or Analytics.
- Click Settings in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Complete one of the following:
- If you are the original admin user: In the field under Admin Refresh Token, copy and paste the token you provided to Provisioning during the set up process (it was sent to you via email).
- If you are an admin adding a user: In the field under Acoustic Campaign Refresh Token, copy and paste the token that was sent to you via email when access was given by an Org Admin.
- Click Save.
Get into Email Insights after being added
If you do not see the Email Insights option in your Application Menu, make sure you were given access by an organization administrator on your account. If no one has this option, Acoustic Campaign Support will send your case to the Provisioning Team to have this feature added.
In Acoustic Campaign, select Applications > Email Insights.
- In Acoustic Campaign, create a new User if you do not already have an Account.
- Go to Settings > User Accounts and open the user account. Scroll down to the Application Settings section, activate Email Insights and Save.
- Go to Settings > Organization Settings > Application Account Access.
- Click on Add Account Access to add new user.
- Specify the Application Email Insights, and pick an existing user.
Once added, the added user will receive an e-mail with a Refresh token. User will log into the Email Insights application and go to Preview or Analytics.
- Go to Settings in the top right and place the Token in the designated area and click Save.
Once submitted, Email Insights is set up and ready to use. Full access is granted.
Access Email Insights as a new user after generating a refresh token
If you can't see Email Insights in Acoustic Campaign after setting up a user and generating a refresh token, try these steps.
- In Acoustic Campaign, go to Settings > Org Admin > User Accounts.
- Select the affected user.
- Scroll down to Application Settings.
- Check the box next to Email Insights.
- Click Save.
