These scenarios illustrate triggered custom web events.
Calculator scenario
Sunshine Bank has several loan calculators on their website. The bank sets up a custom tracking event called loan_calculator
. The custom tracking event is implemented on the website. The mortgage calculator event has the friendly name 'mortgage', and the vehicle loan calculator event has the friendly name 'vehicle'.
When a known visitor uses theses calculators on Sunshine Bank's website, Acoustic Campaign collects and saves the information.
Having this set up allows Sunshine Bank to promote general rate specials to contacts that recently performed a loan calculation on their website and it allows the bank to promote rate specials for specific loan types. This can be done in one-off email promotions, as a part of dynamic content, and it can be used for nurture and other promotion campaigns.
