The following scenario illustrates how to send duplicate emails to one email address for recipients that share an email address.
If you want to send duplicate emails to the same email address, you would turn on the disable deduplication feature in your database settings.
Two recipients share the email address "jonesfamily@gmail.com" for a loyalty program so they can combine all of their points into one account. When the disable deduplication feature is turned on, recipient A receives an email at "jonesfamily@gmail.com" personalized to recipient A and recipient B also receives a message at "jonesfamily@gmail.com" personalized to recipient B.
Similarly, when more than one contact shares the same mobile number, each of the contacts gets a text message that is personalized to them. In the current scenario, both recipient A and recipient B receive an SMS if the channel identifier is the mobile number.
