CRM integrations interact with Salesforce.com Campaigns in four different ways.
- Send Silverpop Email button in the SFDC Campaign page layout allows the sending of a Silverpop email template to the members of the Campaign. The SFDC Campaign does not integrate with Acoustic Campaign, instead, Silverpop facilitates sending of Acoustic Campaign email to the current Campaign members. Once the email is sent, the integration returns the email delivery statistics to the Campaign related list object named Silverpop Email Campaign Activities.
- During the Send process within Acoustic Campaign, there is a check box that says Create CRM Campaign. Create CRM Campaign creates a SFDC Campaign that represents the specific email send. Additionally, the integration creates the default member status Campaign member records, for the Acoustic Campaign recipients who are already syncing to SFDC along with the delivery statistics records in the custom object related list that is named Silverpop Email Campaign Activities.
- You can add a contact from an Acoustic Campaign program to a Campaign in SFDC by adding the action Add Contact to Campaign to a Step or Track in Program Step Resources. You must specify a SFDC Campaign ID that is required and must be copied from SFDC and the SFDC Campaign Member Status is optional. You can also build rules around the action to only synchronize contacts that are in a step or track.
- You can associate a Campaign or a Program with Web Forms so that you can use SFDC reporting to better understand which Campaigns are most influencing leads. Attach a Campaign Code (SFDC Campaign ID) to your web form, so that when you submit your web form, you can easily add contacts to Campaigns. You can also set a Campaign Status in addition to the Campaign Code. To add these features to your Web Form, enter a default SFDC Campaign ID code and Campaign Status in the standard Web Form properties.
