You can use relational tables to add personalization in Fast Campaign Integration (FCI) emails.
Relational tables in FCI work the same way as they do in the standard implementation of the Acoustic Campaign. However, some FCI-specific configuration steps are required for the proper integration of relational tables.
- Create a new relational table by importing CSV, TSV, or PSV from your hard drive or stored files.
- Navigate to Data > Import > New.
- In the Name field, give your relational table a name.
- From the Choose Import New Type menu, select the Relational Table option.
- To upload an existing file stored on your computer, choose the Upload file from the local hard drive option and click Browse.
- Map fields from your file to the fields in your Acoustic Campaign database.
Make sure that you select the appropriate field types and a unique identifier.
- Click Submit to run the import data job.
- Associate the relational table to your FCI Template database.
- On the View Data screen, select the FCI Template database.
- Click Associate Table.
- Select a relational table from the database and click Select. The dialogue box changes to a field selector to select and map the fields.
- When mapping is completed, click Submit and submit the data job.
- Run the flowchart in the Campaign to trigger the FCI email send.
When the Audience database is created, all the Relational Table associations created for the Template database are copied to the new Audience database in Campaign Automation.
