The first step that is involved in configuring Acoustic Campaign is to create a flexible database for SugarCRM. Read through the following topic to understand how to create a flexible database for SugarCRM.
CRM integration with Acoustic Campaign requires a Flexible database. You can either Create a Flexible database from scratch and then manually add the field names or Import a new database from a flat-file (CSV, TSV, or PSV) that includes all field headers.
For the CRM integration to work, the database must meet the following requirements. Verify the following steps to ensure that the integration is completed as expected.
- The database must be saved in the shared folder.
- The database must be a Flexible Database.
- If you are importing a new database, the CSV, TSV, or PSV file must contain an Email field
- Avoid adding new contacts. New contacts are added through the Scribe Online integration synchronization. Non-CRM contacts that you wish to add to this database must be added after the SugarCRM integration populates the flexible database in order to leverage email matching and not create duplicates that are synchronized from SugarCRM.
The next step is to associate a flexible database with your SugarCRM integration.
