The CRM and marketing administrators for the integration can use Scribe Online to map Contact and Lead fields between Acoustic Campaign and Microsoft Dynamics.
To create a Scribe Online solution for a Microsoft Dynamics CRM Integration, you must complete the following tasks:
- Download the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Lead and Contact maps.
- Create an Integration Solution in Scribe Online. Name the new solution 'Standard CRM Acoustic Campaign Sync' or something similar for easy identification.
- Extract the zip file of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Lead and Contact maps and Import its JSON file(s) into the new solution.
- Configure the maps with the correct Source and Target connections as identified in the Microsoft Dynamics Scribe integration maps article.
- Map the fields in each map. If a field mapping planning file was used to decide the fields to be mapped, use the file to help determine the mappings.
- Schedule the solution as needed.
Note: For an initial setup, it's suggested to leave the solution as On Demand, run the solution once, and then evaluate the data in both Acoustic Campaign and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. If the data appears as expected in both environments, then the solution can be scheduled as needed.
The above instructions account for the standard Lead and Contact sync. More introductory maps are available for additional integration features.
