WeatherFX® gathers geographically and seasonally normalized proprietary weather data. In some cases, WeatherFX also gathers general or customer-specific sales transactional data. WeatherFX then uses this data to create weather triggers based on conditions that influence consumer behavior.
Weather triggers include both current and forecasted conditions. Triggers are relevant to specific locations and seasons.
The following diagram illustrates the overall workflow.
WeatherFX geo availability
Availability of specific triggers varies by geo:
- United States
- New Zealand
- United Kingdom
WeatherFX® creates weather triggers based on conditions that influence consumer behavior. A weather trigger is a mix of different weather conditions and values that are unique to a location and season.
When you integrate WeatherFX with Acoustic Campaign, you can build queries in Acoustic Campaign that select a segment based on weather triggers in a specified area.
You can then send emails and messages to your contacts based on the WeatherFX trigger data.
