Before you begin, the Alert Service must be enabled and configured.
- To enable the Alert Service, login as an administrator.
- Navigate to Portal Management.
- Select CX Settings > Alerts/Thresholds.
- Set Alerting Control Service to the appropriate value:
PORTALenables viewing alerts through the Portal.
SERVICEenables viewing the Alert Status page.
BOTHenables viewing the Alert Status page and alerts through the Portal.
You must log in to the Portal again to see the changes. The data collector service does not need to be restarted.
