After you configure the session agent, pipeline, and Portal objects, you can test the capture and database population of session attributes by performing a search.
For cxReveal, the key configuration item is to verify that users have appropriate permissions to access the cxReveal functionality required for their role.
Note: A complete set of tests can be run after all components are configured.
After your initial configuration is complete, perform the following steps to verify the configuration.
- Test
REVEALADMINaccount: Log in using this account.- Check that the account can access the appropriate menu items.
- Verify that the account can access the cxReveal Executive Dashboard through the Dashboards menu.
- Verify that the cxReveal Executive Dashboard contains all of the appropriate dashboard components.
- Perform a search using this account. Verify that the appropriate search and session list templates are displayed.
- Verify that you can create new cxReveal users and groups with this account.
- Verify that you can retrieve results from searching.
- Test the database search.
- Test the Canister-based search.
- Test CSR account: Log in using this account.
- Verify that the appropriate search and session list templates are displayed.
