The Tealeaf installer or upgrader configures the Health-based routing (HBR) server to support a 32-bit pipeline. However, you can configure the HBR to support a 64-bit pipeline for better performance in high load conditions.
To create a 64-bit pipeline on the HBR server, choose agents from the following list of supported 64-bit session agents.
- HBR
- HBREx
- DataDrop
- DecoupleEx
- Inflate
- PrivacyEx
- TLTRef
- SessionRouter
- Null
- Socket
Capture data coming into the HBR server from the Passive Capture Application (PCA) is 32-bit data. An HBR server that uses a 64-bit pipeline must convert the incoming PCA hits from 32-bit data to 64-bit data. TealeafCaptureSocket.exe
performs the data conversion.
Canister servers or any other Tealeaf component servers do not support 64-bit pipelines. An HBR server that uses a 64-bit pipeline must convert the outbound data to 32-bit before sending it to the Canister servers. The 64-bit to 32-bit conversion occurs in the SessionAgentSocket.dll
file.
