After you install Tealeaf CX you can enable it for use by running TLsetup.exe files.
Running a TLsetup.exe file unlocks features and functions (in most cases through a license mechanism) specific to the Tealeaf solution that you will use manage your customer's experience.
Some solutions can be enabled only if the Portal and Tealeaf CX components are installed, while other Tealeaf products can be enabled regardless of whether Portal is installed.

Running the TLsetup.exe files for these products registers them and enables them for use.
You must run the TLsetup.exe files on the server hosting the Tealeaf Portal.

TLsetup.exe files for these products locally (on the same machine as Tealeaf CX) or on a different machine.
- If you run the
TLsetup.exefiles for these products locally and you have installed the Portal, you can then use the Portal to register and enable the products for use.If you have not installed the Portal, you can still enable these products for use by running the
TLsetup.exefiles locally. Enabling products for use in this manner involves changing configuration files manually. - If you are not running the
TLsetup.exefiles for these products locally (meaning you are not enabling them for use on the same server on which Tealeaf CX is installed), then you can enable them by running theTLsetup.exeon a separate server.

If you are installing the Portal server, the Installer automatically disables the Interactive Services Detection service, which causes conflicts with the BBR rendering instances. See Preparing the network environment for information about the Interactive Services Detection service.
The steps for enabling a product for use by running it's TLsetup.exe are same regardless of the product. To enable an Tealeaf solution:

- Double-click
TLsetup.exe. - Select the language that you want to use for the installation wizard pages and click OK.
- In the License screen, review the license terms. Accept the terms and click Next.
- When the Begin Installation page is displayed, click Install to start the installation process.
- When the Installation Complete page is displayed, click Finish.
You have successfully enabled Tealeaf.
