For the best system performance, install Tealeaf applications and their components on dedicated hardware.
Hardware requirements for Windows servers
64-bit processors are required for all Windows-based servers hosting the Processing Server, Report Server or Archiving component.
If your databases are hosted on a server that also hosts other software, such as the Reporting Server, you can use a supported 32-bit version of SQL Server. However, a 64-bit version of SQL Server is recommended.
Requirements for Linux servers hosting the Passive Capture Application (PCA)
The Passive Capture Application (PCA) runs only on Linux. Both 32-bit processors and 64-bit processors are supported.

Data preaggregator hardware sizing information
The hardware requirements for a data preaggregator can vary based on the size of your Tealeaf environment.
The minimum requirements assume that two canisters are deployed. Additional hardware is required if additional canisters are deployed.

cxVerify hardware requirements
Tealeaf cxVerify requires dedicated hardware. The cxVerify server must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Dual 1.8 GHz Pentium processors
- 2 GB RAM
- Disk space that is based on the amount of data being extracted
- Disk spaced that is based on your retention policy
