Use contact insight to see which SMS message has been sent or opened by a contact. Contact insight, gives an up-to-date and historical outlook at the SMS messages performance up to the number of days allowed by your organization's retention settings. Your organization administrator can check them by going to archive settings on the organization settings page.

View SMS message performance in contact insight

1. Open contact insight.
2. In SMS and group messaging, view all sent SMS messages.
3. Click a message name to show the personalized message.
4. To identify key messages that have been sent to or opened by a contact, sort messages by:
   • Sent/Opened
   • Subject
   • Sent date
   • Open date 

Note: If the content of the email has personalization or dynamic content, then the content shown in the contact insight message reflects what the SMS messages look like if it was sent at this moment, not what it looked like when it was actually sent and received by the contact.
