If the previous solution is inadequate, you can create an external file database. A
.tli file can be used to store static content, which is referenced during replay.
Load times for the first page of a session improve with this method.
Note: If changes are made to your site, this solution may cause RTV to reference obsolete version of
stored files, which could cause various replay problems. When site changes are made, you should
remove the
.tli file from the configuration, and repeat these steps to create a new
one.- Apply the settings in the previous solution.
- In the Options screen, select the Static Files tab.
- Select the
'Get Images' goes to Static File Databaseoption. - Click New. You can either accept the suggested name or pick a preferred file name and location.
- Click OK.
