LIVEmail is a paid add-on in Digital Analytics that allows you to send data to various email service providers. Its main objective is to improve email campaign distribution and efficiency.
This feature is currently available in the legacy Coremetrics interface, and as we transition to the new UI, those who have paid for this functionality will expect to see it in the new UI and need to begin setting up their feeds prior to October 31 (end of legacy migrations).
LIVEmail optimizes email campaigns executed by industry-leading email service provider partners as well as in-house systems. We deliver targeted customer segments and their corresponding site activities to help define the most relevant content to include in your messages.
You control which organizations you want to share your data with. You can send standard certified LIVEmail data feeds to your partners, create best practice program feeds for non-certified partners or for in-house systems, or define a completely custom data export. You can create these feeds in the Build > Export section of Digital Analytics.
LIVEmail offers two primary data export types: Email Service Provider feeds and Best Practice feeds. LIVEmail also includes additional options for activity and customer record feeds.
Email service provider feeds
All current email service provider organizations that have achieved partner certification appear as selectable options in the LIVEmail: Email Service Provider Feed section.
To become a certified partner for LIVEmail, email service provider organizations must have a repeatable solution for integration by accepting and internalizing LIVEmail data feeds within their applications. It requires the partner to choose at least one of the supported LIVEmail feed formats. The Partners setup page will, by default, display only the type of LIVEmail export (data fields included and file format accepted) on which the partner was certified.

Best practice feeds
Best practice program definitions get your email initiatives running quickly. You can target site browsers, abandoners, converters, or dormant customers with relevant messaging to increase conversion, engagement, and demand.
Note: There may be slight differences in LIVEmail feeds for orders, sales, and a total number of email IDs, because Digital Analytics now deduplicates order IDs historically, whereas previously order IDs were deduplicated based on the past 2 days of data. This means that orders, sales, and email IDs may be lower than what has been seen previously, but the data will be more accurate.
Additional options for activity and customer record feeds
Additional options have been added to the activity record and customer record feeds for customers who are entitled to LIVEmail. You can use email ID as an export key for both activity and customer record feeds, and all registration fields, including fields like email address and registration attributes, are available to add to your customer record feed.
