Schedule a report to be sent on a regular basis from Performance Insights to any person, whether or not they have an Acoustic Campaign log in.
Use case
You're a marketer who looks at reports almost daily. As part of your job, you view, analyze, and understand what the metrics mean and how they help you improve your company. Your executives want insight into your customer's responses and what you're using to inform your marketing decisions, such as how many emails you send and how many clicks you're getting on emails. From Performance Insights, you can create a report that has all the metrics your executives care about, and then you can schedule that report to be sent on whatever cadence you choose, for example, every week, every month, or once a quarter.
About sending a report
- Emailed reports can be sent in 30-minute intervals on any day beginning when you set the schedule. You can not schedule reports to send from past dates.
- The report will stop updating at 11:59 p.m. on the day it is sent. For example, if your report is scheduled to send on September 20, whoever views the report only sees data for the date range of the report until 11:59 p.m. on September 20, even if they open the report on September 22.
- If the person who receives the report wants to export it to PDF, Excel, CSV, and PNG, they can do so from the action menu in the upper right corner of the report or from the individual widgets.
- When you send a report, the recipient receives a URL to view the report via email.
Send a report
- Open the report you want to send.
- From the Menu in the upper right corner of the report, select Send report.
- Enter the recipients, Email subject, optional Message, and then choose your Frequency, enter your Schedule name, and select the dates and times you want the report to send.
- To create a report send without an end date, choose the Select date calendar and toggle No end date to on.
- You can only schedule emails to be sent in 30-minute intervals such as 4:00 p.m. or 4:30 p.m.
- Click Schedule.
Manage your send schedule
You can manage your schedules from within a specific report or you can manage schedules across all of your reports in one place.
To view a list of all your scheduled reports, simply go to Manage send schedules in the Report menu. You can edit or delete any schedule from there.
To edit a schedule for a specific report:
- Navigate to the report you want to manage.
- From the Menu icon in the upper right corner, select Manage send schedules.
- In the Manage send schedules pop-up, select the three-dot menu and click Edit.
- Make your edits and click Schedule.
To delete a schedule for a specific report:
- Navigate to the report you want to manage.
- From the Menu icon in the upper right corner, select Manage send schedules.
- In the Manage send schedules pop-up, select the three-dot menu and click Delete.
- Confirm that you want to delete the schedule for that report.
Note: Any existing links to that report will remain active after the scheduled report is deleted.
