Draft
This is the initial state of your SMS campaign. When you're done editing the campaign's specific, you can:
- Activate it right away – the status will change to Running.
- Set the start date in the future – the status will change to Scheduled.
Scheduled
This status shows when you set your SMS campaign to activate in the future and it has no pre-messages set.
Once your campaign reaches the start date, its status will update to Running. You can also start the campaign manually if you decide to launch it earlier.
The status will change back to Draft and will enable you to make all the necessary updates. You'll be able to activate the campaign right away or set a start date again.
Running
This campaign status will start when:
- You activate the campaign manually.
- The campaign reaches its scheduled start date.
The status will remain until it reaches the end date or until you end the campaign manually. Then, it will change to Completed.
Paused
If you want to make changes to your campaign messages without ending it, change the status to Pause.
When you're ready to activate the campaign again, click Resume in the campaigns listing. The status will be resumed into the status that corresponds to the campaigns start and end date.
You can also end a paused campaign, which will change the status to Completed.
Completed
Your campaign is complete when:
- A previously active campaign reaches its end date.
- You end the campaign manually and mark it as complete.
The date and time of manual end will override the previously set campaign end date.
Once your campaign is completed, you can only archive it.
Pre-launch
The pre-launch status is when the campaign is between the date set in the pre-launch window and the start of the campaign.
Post-launch
The post-launch status is after the end of the campaign until the date specified in the post-launch window.
Archive
After your campaign reaches its end date and the status changes to Complete, you can only archive it manually. When archived, the campaign is unrecoverable.
