Acoustic Campaign supports CRM integration to connect your email marketing activities with your customer relationship management system. These integrations enable the exchange of contact data, campaign information, and engagement metrics, helping align marketing and sales efforts. The integration method depends on which CRM your organization uses.
Supported CRM integrations
Salesforce
Acoustic Campaign supports a direct API-based integration with Salesforce. With this integration:
- Contact and lead data can sync between Salesforce and Acoustic Campaign
- Campaign and mailing information can be associated with CRM records
- Email engagement data (sends, opens, and clicks) can be shared with Salesforce
This direct API connection allows for real-time or near real-time data exchange between systems.
Microsoft Dynamics, SugarCRM, and NetSuite
For Microsoft Dynamics, SugarCRM, and NetSuite, the recommended integration method is through an iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) solution such as Tibco / Scribe. An iPaaS solution:
- Acts as middleware between Acoustic Campaign and the CRM
- Manages data mapping, transformation, and synchronization
- Enables automated data flow without custom development
- Supports scalable and maintainable integrations
What is and isn't synced
CRM integrations are designed to share campaign and interaction data. The focus is on syncing:
- Contact and recipient information
- Campaign metadata
- Email engagement and performance data
Note: HTML email content is not synced into the CRM. CRM integrations share campaign and interaction data only — not email creative assets.
How to get started
- Identify the CRM system used by your organization.
- Review the integration documentation relevant to your CRM.
- For Salesforce: prepare the required API credentials and review authentication and data mapping requirements.
- For Dynamics, SugarCRM, or NetSuite: evaluate Tibco/Scribe configuration options and define your data flows and sync schedules.
- Test the integration using a sample campaign before enabling it for production use.
