Installing Tealeaf's snapshot capture extension in the Chrome browser is now available and easier than ever. Follow the directions listed below to begin using snapshot in Chrome! 

Installing Snapshot capture with Chrome

Open Tealeaf from within your Chrome browser and login. Select Extensions from the left-side navigation.

Click on the Install link from the Tealeaf extension for Chrome tile. From here, you will be redirected to the Chrome web store.

Click Add to Chrome.

Select Add extension.

Now that your extension is installed, you can find your extension by selecting the puzzle piece next to the browser search bar. From there, you can select the extension and/or pin it to your extension bar. 

To use the extension, simply select the extension icon from your extension bar and the Tealeaf snapshot extension will pop up. 

If you are not logged into Tealeaf on your browser, the extension will prompt you to log in.

Installing extension from Tealeaf Snapshot Gallery

Another way to install the Snapshot extension is to go directly into the Snapshot gallery from the left-side navigation in Tealeaf. From here, you will see a tile in the Snapshot navigation that prompts you to download the extension.

You will be redirected to the Chrome web store where you will select Add to Chrome.

Select Add extension.

Now that your extension is installed, you can find your extension by selecting the puzzle piece next to the browser search bar. From there, you can select the extension and/or pin it to your extension bar. 

To use the extension, simply select the extension icon from your extension bar and the Tealeaf snapshot extension will pop up. 

If you are not logged into Tealeaf on your browser, the extension will prompt you to log in.

Troubleshooting

After installing the Chrome extension, when it is accessed for the first time, it shows the welcome screen and login option. Based on the your Org URL, update the Tealeaf URL field value and click Login to Tealeaf button as if to access capture and other options in Chrome extension.

For example, if your org is located in FRA DC, Tealeaf URL value to be mentioned in Chrome extension the login is https://tealeaf-eu-1.goacoustic.com/. Following are the Tealeaf URLs for each SaaS DC:

SYD: https://tealeaf-ap-1.goacoustic.com/

FRA: https://tealeaf-eu-1.goacoustic.com/

DAL: https://tealeaf-us-1.goacoustic.com/

WDC: https://tealeaf-us-2.goacoustic.com/
