A trigger can be a form submit?

The message triggered can be sent to other recipients and not to the person that submitted the form? If someone within my organization wants to be informed every time someone submits a form, can he use automate messages?

    Hi Alessandro,

You can do that easily with an Alert (Scoring Models - Alerts). So, every time that a webform is submitted you can choose to send it to an external email address.

Also you can create a program that the entry criteria is subtmited a form, with just only touchpoint (call center, direct mail or even export contact) that has the functionality to send it to an or several emails.

    Thank you Diego.

I was able to create an alert that way. But after that when I tried to create a second alert for a different DB, this other DB was not showing up in the list in the "create alert" interface. Only the same DB of the first alert was available...

     Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Alessandro, yes, this is the limitation about alerts, I mean, just one single database is allowed to use with scoring models and alertas.

If you need to use several databases, the second option is the best, I mean, using programs (each program can be related to a different database). You just need to create a program, select the database related to the form, leave the option do not add records, select the option add when an event ocurr, and finally select the option when a web form is submitted.

Then you just need to add call center touch point and configure it (with message and email address)

    OK thanks!

Too bad the limitation is not made explicit, that would save a lot of time in vain efforts.

Well, the limitation is about scoring models, and it make some sense thinking about the metrics related. Is true that an alert related web forms could be deployed (independent about scoring). But you have a few options. First one you can select a single database for all forms (including a hidden field with the form name or contact source) and then create the alert (alert include the form name i think). But the best option is programs if you are more confortable with different databases). You can send me an email (dda@besmart.com.ar) if you need more help.
