Get to know the new Acoustic Help Center
FeaturedHere at Acoustic, we are all about creating simplicity and building seamless solutions. Our new help center is just one way we want to connect with you across this vision.
Behind the scenes, you’ll find a team of content designers that is excited and happy to serve you. We’re ready to scale up the delivery of awesome content to our customers and at the same time, keep re-inventing the approach we use to craft our content to give you the latest why’s, how’s, and tips you deserve to get your job done.
What we love about our new help center
Our in-house design team helped us find the sweet balance between form and aesthetics to both welcome and guide you. Our home page gives you quick access to help articles across all our products, plus info on how to get started with Acoustic. No matter where you are in the help center, you can easily switch back and forth from marketing focused help articles to developer and community content without hunting for links. You can even search for community content directly from the help center.
Tips for finding articles
Every great help center has the search front and center. A simple search will find relevant articles across all our products with titles or content that relates back to your search terms. Our type-ahead feature will suggest article titles to quickly surface content that you need.
A lot of times, this type of broad search is exactly what you need, but other times, you might want to narrow your search. Here are some quick tips to help you zero in on the perfect articles:
- Use double quotes to target an exact phrase in your search. Example: “content types”
- Use double quotes (“) to only return articles that contain all your keywords. Example: “campaign” “content”
- Exclude words that could cloud your search with a minus (-) operator.
- Combine search operations to really target your search. Example: Sprinkle in double quotes and minus operators.
- Add filters to your search results by clicking Articles and selecting a category of interest. Example: Click Content to filter your search results by a product category.
New navigation
We’re working on telling a story with our navigation. A story that helps you learn at a glance what our products are all about. We’ve already made huge improvements on surfacing the articles you need at a higher level, but our work is not done until we have the optimal experience for you. Keep checking back to see more improvements on organization of our help articles.
What’s next with the content design team
Our new help center is just the beginning and will be constantly evolving. We’re actively working toward crafting new articles, new ways of telling our story, and more. Please help us shape easy-to-read content by letting us know if our articles are helpful by giving us the thumbs up or thumbs down. Later this year, you’ll be able to add comments to share more. Stay tuned to the exciting things to come!
