You've heard about the enhancements to the Acoustic Marketing Platform and, while much of our work has taken place behind the scenes to improve things like uptime and stability, we have some big things coming for you to get your hands on!
First is the new user experience, which is being released for Content on August 15th. While this includes a new look and feel, we've also taken this time to rework many of our workflows to make it much simpler for you to get your work done quickly and efficiently. Keep an eye out for some training we'll be releasing as we get closer to the date, as well as other enhancements coming soon!
Our new user experience is unlocked with a new identity management platform - Acoustic ID.
Acoustic ID is a single credential that streamlines your access to Content, the rest of the Acoustic Marketing Platform, as well as other resources including the Help Center, Support, and the Learning Academy. Our goal is to give you a seamless identity that’s both secure and efficient.
On Saturday, August 15, Acoustic ID will replace IBMid. There will be a short period of downtime mode on Saturday morning Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
All Content users with an IBMid already have an Acoustic ID created with the same username, though you must activate your Acoustic ID from the "Welcome to Acoustic" email.
What do you need to make sure you have access?
You may have already activated your account. If you haven’t, don't worry! We are going to resend a "Welcome to Acoustic ID" activation email on Thursday, August 13th.
The activation link in this email is valid for 7 days. All you need to do is click the activation link and set up your password.
Follow these 4 easy steps to activate your Acoustic ID:
- Look for an email with the subject line "Welcome to Acoustic!" or from the sender email@example.com. Here's what it looks like:
- Click the "Activate Account" link
- Set up your password and security question.
- Log in.
Reminder: The activation link is only valid for 7 days.
I manage access for my team - what if my team has new users, or if I need to check the status of existing users?
Product Admins will have a new view to manage their users through My Acoustic. You'll view your Profile, Subscriptions, and other users within your Subscriptions.
